Ben’s Army believe consistent exercise and proper nutrition play a vital role in your ability to maintain your overall health and quality of life.
The first thing we would say is that you cannot separate nutrition and training. The two work together synergistically and regardless of your goals – losing fat, gaining muscle, athletic conditioning and so on. Without paying attention to both training and nutrition your results will be difficult and take longer to achieve.
If you don’t posses nutritional knowledge, then understanding our food plan is far more important than training and should become your number one priority, this is why we like to have your food consult before your first training session. Improving a poor diet can create rapid, quantum leaps in fat loss and muscle building progress.
Exercise together with a proper diet will help place your body in caloric deficit, meaning that you are burning more calories than you are consuming. Eating foods high in nutritional value but low in caloric content such as fresh fruit, cruciferous vegetables and lean proteins such as fish and poultry will create a caloric deficit. (don’t worry we explain everything in our food consults)
